The foundation pursues exclusively charitable purposes. It may inter alia support charitable programs, projects, organizations, institutions or activities in the following areas:

  • Humanitarian Support
    The foundation may provide for humanitarian support and help people suffering from hunger, poverty, natural disasters and war.

  • Peacebuilding
    The foundation may seek to serve the promotion of human rights and peacebuilding as well as to promote religious and cultural dialogue.

  • Health
    The foundation can support projects of all kinds to protect physical and mental health of people, to support scientific research in the health sector, for the improvement of health and old age care as well as for the support of people with physical or mental disabilities.

  • Education
    The foundation can support projects in the field of education in order to promote education in schools to enable and encourage the development of all levels, in particular by promoting studies, training and research programs.

  • Scientific research
    The foundation can promote scientific research.

  • Culture
    The foundation can support cultural organizations and projects.

Only projects that are tax-exempt can be supported. Certain requests are not considered.

The LMT Foundation is a foundation within the meaning of art. 80 ff. of the Swiss Civil Code.
